Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Regional Coordinator for our programs in Rawalpindi. The Regional Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various initiatives aimed at enhancing the socio-economic well-being of communities in the Punjab and AJK Region.
Job Description:
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation of various programs/projects in Rawalpindi/ICT, other districts of Punjab and AJK.
- Ensure programs/projects are executed efficiently, meeting established timelines and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local government authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure effective coordination and cooperation.
- Supervise and lead a team of project managers, field officers, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
- Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track programs/projects progress.
- Regularly assess programs/projects outcomes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with the finance team to monitor project budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with financial guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on programs/projects activities, outcomes, and challenges.
- Communicate effectively with the senior management team.
- Facilitate community engagement initiatives and ensure the active participation of local communities in programs/projects activities.
- Identify opportunities for community capacity building and empowerment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as development studies, vocational education, or business administration.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in managing different programs/projects specially Health & Nutrition, Climate Action, Education, Livelihood & skills development preferably with vulnerable communities.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, training delivery, and monitoring & evaluation.
- Strong understanding of the local context and challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English and (local language(s)), proficiency in Urdu an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and MS Word.
